VOLUME 1
Open Closets is a photo series that documents the lives of LGBTQ individuals in a setting that is important to them and tells their story in their own words. Some are handwritten, some are typed - it all depends on the person and their preference. The goal of this photo series is to showcase the LGBTQ community just as they are. Some chose to write remarks on life, some chose to write coming out stories or even general statements about what it's like to be within the community. This project is only just beginning and these are a few of the subjects and their stories so far.
